Congratulations! You’re on your way to having a new website!
There are 3 steps you must complete so I can get started on your VIP Website Setup:
Step 1: Register your domain name (i.e., yoursite.com):
Already have a registered domain? Skip to Step 2
Still need to purchase a domain? Click here for instructions
To register your domain:
- I recommend Godaddy (Link will open in a new page so you can refer back to these instructions if needed.)
- Skip all of the add-ons Godaddy offers – you don’t need them
(look for “no thanks” links, usually at the bottom of the page) - When purchase is complete, go to Step 2
Step 2: Purchase the Baby Hosting Plan at Hostgator.
(hosting must be purchased through this partner link to qualify for free setup)
- Choose any plan term (1 month, 1 year, 2 years, etc.) you prefer
- Be sure to check the spelling when you enter your domain name
Step 3: Forward all of the information to me at valerie@aclevercat.com:
- Login details for domain registration (username & password)
- Welcome Email from Hostgator
The VIP Setup includes some additional items, so I will be in touch with you for additional information. Please look for an email from me and we will get this baby rolling!

I wasn't sure what I wanted when I started this all out, just a place to put my thoughts out there, I guess. You made it easy and fun. I'm a comic book nerd, no real thoughts on what I was going to do. Working with you was what shook loose the cobwebs and gave my site direction.
